The Story Behind High Roller

High Roller Provisions honestly started from the way we already lived our everyday life.

Growing up, we always knew where our meat came from. Beef from the farm, fresh eggs from local people, home cooked meals, food that was simple and real. It wasn’t really something we thought twice about because it was just normal to us.

After becoming a mom though, I started looking at food completely differently.

Once I had my son, I became so much more conscious about what was actually in the food we eat every day. The more I paid attention, the more I realized how much of what’s on shelves is overly processed and full of ingredients you can’t even pronounce. It made me want to be more intentional about what I feed my family and especially what my son grows up eating.

I wanted him to grow up knowing where his food came from the same way we did.

That’s really where the idea for High Roller Provisions came from.

I wanted to create a place where people in our community could walk in and find local beef, homemade food, fresh products, and things they could actually feel good about bringing home to their families. Not just “trendy farm-to-table” stuff, but real food from real people.

And honestly, one of my favorite parts of all of this is being able to give other local producers a place to showcase what they do too. We have so many hardworking farmers, bakers, small businesses, and makers around here creating amazing products, and they deserve a space where people can discover and support them.

High Roller Provisions is going to be a little bit of everything we love — local beef, homemade breakfast and lunch, coffee, local goods, community events upstairs in The Blue Room, and hopefully just a place people enjoy coming into.

This whole thing has been built one step at a time while juggling work, farm life, motherhood, and honestly just figuring it out as we go. The amount of support we’ve already received from this community has meant more than I can explain.

We’re so excited to bring this dream to downtown Christiansburg, and I seriously cannot wait to open the doors and share it with everyone.
